Dr. Kayla Kigawa is a third-generation dentist proudly continuing her family’s legacy at Kigawa Family Dental in Mar Vista, Los Angeles. Known for her warm chairside manner, precision, and commitment to preventive and restorative care, Dr. Kigawa blends modern techniques with personalized, patient-first values that have defined the practice for over four decades.
Today, she welcomes patients from across Venice, Culver City, Playa Vista, and greater West LA to experience compassionate dentistry rooted in relationships and excellence.

Dr. Kigawa’s path into dentistry was inspired by her father and grandfather—both dentists who deeply impacted their communities. Her academic journey reflects a passion for science, service, and lifelong learning:

Following graduation, Dr. Kigawa joined her father, Dr. Steven H. Kigawa, in Culver City before taking over the family practice in 2025.

Dr. Kigawa believes that excellent dentistry goes beyond technical skill—it’s about trust, transparency, and genuine care. Whether she’s performing a routine dental cleaning, placing tooth-colored fillings, or helping a patient achieve their dream smile with cosmetic dentistry, she emphasizes education and collaboration at every step.
